School Council
At Rendlesham Primary School, we elect representatives from each class at the start of the school year to be part of our School Council.
Miss Gleeson is the teacher who works with the School Council on projects throughout the year. We also take representatives from this group to the Trust Pupil Parliament.
The School Council has been working on the issue of the School's food waste. The Councillors decided to carry out a survey about the food we consume and why there is so much waste. They also ran an assembly to inform the children about what they were doing and how to be mindful of waste.
The year 5/6 Councillors put together a Powerpoint presentation entitled Eat More waste Less to try and encourage the children to finish their school dinners and packed lunches. See below what their points are.
